I decided to use an infrared electrical underfloor product due to its qualities in relation to the area of the house it was to be used in. A north facing room that had previously had damp issues.
With the help of infrared technologies I was able to lay the product myself. They came to my home and worked out the optimum wattage per sq m for the necessary area. The first stage was to level the floor and then lay the special insulation which was glued down.
The electrical element came in one roll which I was able to put down as had been described by the surveyor. Once the layout had been arranged, the product was stuck to the insulation using the adhesive strip attached to the mesh. This was particularly helpful when coming to lay the tiles as no movement in the element meant that the adhesive was easy to apply to the mesh. By then, applying a good layer of adhesive to the tile meant it was easy to level the tiles leading to a very tidy job as shown by the photos.
